So far this year...

I was reading this post over at a fun blog which made me think how many books I've read this year. I counted it up and it's 53 books. Wow! Not bad. I've also realized that I never posted reviews on a few of them. So maybe when I need to procrastinate (a favorite hobby) I'll write something up on them. Here's the list of books:

Here's the ones I won't review:

Eclipse and New Moon - Stephenie Meyer (because really, why?)
One for the Money - Janet Evanovich (hmm, just not my type of book)
Remember Me? - Sophia Kensella (romancy...enough said)

  1. I looooved Norwegian Wood when I read it a few years ago. It was my first Murakami, and I don't think I could've picked a better book to indoctrinate me into his greatness! lol

  2. I definitely want to hear about Murakami, but also Gruber. I did not like the Gruber book that I read, and it would be interesting to hear your comments.

  3. I just want my pants back has a GREAT cover!

I nowhere near 53 books. This might be my worst reading year since 1993.

  4. I really look forward to your reviews of those, Amanda! Norwegian Wood, Anansi Boys and Coraline are among my favourite books, and I'm very curious about People of the Book.

  5. The only novels on that list that I read are the Gaiman books. I loved Anansi Boys but found Coraline somewhat disappointing.
